PaperSource, one of the largest high-end paper product retailers in the world and a long-term CōDRA client came to us with a desire to develop a uniquely styled planner that stood out in the crowded planner market. They were looking for a special binding style that gave it an unbounded and natural look—something simple and traditional.

 

We collaborated with them, helping develop a planner that fit their needs and managed the production of the planner from start to finish. The initial release in 2015 introduced an 18 month date book and academic weekly planner. Its unique style and beautiful artistic design proved to be popular, and the product was a great success for Paper Source.

 

Because of its success, we worked with them again the following year, adding additional designs. Again, the planner enjoyed a highly successful selling season.

 

In the years following, we continued to collaborate in order to enhance, update, and improve the planner. In the 2017 design, a pen loop was added to the spine.  We also offered a DIY cover option for the myriad crafters that frequented their stores.

 

In 2018, a larger size was introduced that also included a rainbow color edge. In 2019, we added metal grommets on the front and back cover, adding a unique design element to the product.

 

The planner continued to grow in sales over the years as we worked with Paper Source to continually improve the planner for their customers.
